Pastor Brian Minnich
While finishing his undergraduate degree in Geography at Penn State University, Brian joined several friends on a 3 week mission trip to Ukraine. Those 3 weeks, turned into 3 years in the former Soviet Union and now nearly 20 years of full time ministry, including work as a Missionary with One Hope Int’l, service as a Youth Pastor in several North East churches and helping as an Asst. Pastor of Outreach at Mt. Hope, Burlington, MA. Upon receiving the call to become a Lead Pastor, Brian attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary earning a Master of Divinity degree. It was there that his passion for making disciples of all nations was coupled with a passion for the Word of God. These, combined with a Spirit-filled approach, help Brian engage the members of First Assembly, who hail from 43 nations and many branches of Christianity. Beyond the preaching, teaching and counseling that goes into disciple making, Pastor Brian also enjoys evangelism by connecting the church & community through relationship, particularly at the family level. Of course he can’t do this alone. God has blessed him with a beautiful wife, Glorie-Ann, and 4 fantastic kids – Jared, Joel, Lauren and Julianne. When not doing pastoral stuff, you will find Brian outdoors – golfing, skiing, camping, cooking, and eating. When forced indoors he spends time playing games with family/friends, watching Netflix, napping and dreaming of his next vacation.
